Lori Garfield's DNA determined that she should be an artist. She sees and feels the world around her more acutely than many, bringing an awareness of the oneness of the heartbeats on our planet. "I limit my focus to North American animals and plants. Perhaps when I create a familiar critter you'll be reminded of actions that may impact them. I hope my classical atelier training is enough to bring a smile, pause at Nature's splendor and reflect on our connected lives."

Carla has won numerous awards in local art shows and is presently the President of the Josephine County Artists Association. She paints portraits in oil, landscapes and still life in oils and pastel, and abstracts in acrylic. Her art hangs at Gallery One in Grants Pass, OR and at Rogue Gallery & Art Center in Medford, OR.

Landscapes and nature are what I began with, and truly love. The beauty of Southern Oregon combined with my love to travel provides never ending photo opportunities. Under the wing of "Lefty" Dimaggio, Curtis Keeler was given scrap wood, guidance and a few tools to build with as a youth. A 30+ year career in carpentry evolved into a second career designing and building cabinets and furniture pieces with the accent on primitives. He is a veteran trained as a Photographic Interpretor/Cartographer and served in Viet Nam. Widely recognized as a Master Carpenter/Craftsman, Curtis has worked on projects for Clint Eastwood, Paul Anka, Doris Day, the "Doc" Ricketts family, and The Whaling House in Monterey. Curtis currently paints daily.

Watercolors have been my creative source since the 1980s. I love exploring the endless possibilities this medium offers. Passionate about painting nature in my colorful, loose and interpretive style, I'm never at a loss for inspiration. My art hangs in collections in Koln, Bachingen and Reinsdorf, Germany; Krems and Vienna, Austria; Ryd, Sweden; Wales, UK, and many states throughout the U.S. I am a Watercolor Society of Oregon member.

A mixed media artist, I am inspired by the natural history of the mountains and river lands in Southern Oregon. I love collage and book arts and have shown my art throughout the US and locally at Illahe Gallery in Ashland and Paschal Winery in Talent. I have been published in online collaborations and art zines, nationally in Cloth Paper Scissors, and I'm a featured artist in "The Pulse of Mixed Media" by Seth Apter. I also teach and design art workshops.

I have a degree from the Academie of Art and a Biology degree from the University of Riga, Latvia. My sculptures in bronze are in private collections in Latvia, Germany and England. When I came to Alaska from Latvia in 1997 I was overwhelmed by its beauty; I was able to observe Alaska's magnificent brown bears and painting them with Alaska scenery became my passion. In 2003 I came to Applegate, Oregon. My paintings are exhibited in Ashland, Medford and Jacksonville galleries.

With a history in fashion design, Silvia Trujillo has 20 years experience in fine art study, painting, and teaching.  She is a master colorist; emphasizing color harmony, and works in impressionist, realist, and abstract styles. "My goal is to consistently produce paintings that are uniquely original and that express my love of nature."
