The differences between my art and photography are night and day, like my varied interests. I’m constantly amazed by the serene beauty and magical happenings that happen in Nature. Architecture has always been an interest of mine as well. The juxtaposition of the organic with man-made is most interesting. My drawings and paintings often convey a sensual feel. I depict the beautiful nude female with a simplification of form.

Dr. Seuss meets MC Escher and they make Andy Warhol-like paintings... Pretty much AMAZING!

I paint in an effort to give solid form to ideas that increase the depth of my experiences in the process of living. American Modernists and their quest to discover a history of art particular to the country they lived in connect me in my personal exploration with European impressionist and post- impressionist artists. I strive to continue their work and further my own understanding of how art concurrently creates and connects us to our culture.

My artwork is in private and corporate collections world-wide. I am an award-winning artist, past gallery-owner, and my art has been in many exhibitions. My work is a contrast of abstract design with geometric order. I’m drawn to repeating images and tend to build those into my work, while at the same time, I like looser brushstrokes and flowing lines. To me, that feels similar to life. You organize and schedule life, but there are so many unexpected life events. It’s a mix of order and chaos.

A painter and poet, I play in the crossroads of art & spirit. My paintings are visual stanzas of a poem I will spend my life writing - with brush & pen. I've had the honor to create and exhibit art in the United States, Europe & Micronesia. "As with poetry, painting is either a battle or a dance. Expressive, impressionistic and colorful, Dianne's work was awarded First Place at Expressions West 2010, a juried exhibit of artists from the Western US, at the Coos Art  Museum in Coos Bay, OR. Specializing in figurative oil painting from photographs, she also enjoys experimenting with many mediums and subjects, including monotype prints, sculpture, and installation art.

Alx Fox is an experimental mixed media artist whose works are often noted for their unique style, elegance and technique. Her use of striking colors and strong 3 dimensional textures has resulted in an innovative style of abstract expressionism. She is also adept at creating commercial works and readily communicates the vision of her clientele.

Inspired by French and Italian countrysides and her Southern Oregon surroundings, Katharine’s art is filled with sun-drenched colors that create charming, elegant and whimsical landscapes and vignettes. After earning her art degree from the University of Wisconsin, she pursued painting as her main focus, specializing in watercolor, acrylic and oils. Katharine continues to explore new themes from the whimsical to creative realism.

My art is guided by my instincts, my curious nature & sense of discovery, and great music rocking on my stereo.  My goal is not perfection but rather to honestly represent my efforts & the outcome each new creation presents, whether it's capturing the alluring beauty of a woman or the juxtaposition of various metals & found objects together to create a unique piece of art.  I currently work in oil, acrylic, watercolor, metal (copper's a favorite) and photography.

Glenn Hill creates custom sculpted harps and multimedia installations including lasers, interactive lighting and silk painting. Also a visual artist, he paints in acrylic on canvas and board and paints/prints on silk. Look for his public art installation in Ashland, to be completed and on display in Summer 2011: 19 painted/ printed silk banners, to be hung over a mile route in Ashland, linking the Havurah with the new Buddhist Temple.

A Southern Oregon artist who has painted on walls from Oregon to Cambodia! I believe in affordable, accessible art and enjoy creating large, bold paintings in contemporary styles. I also enjoy creating classic portraits, landscapes and drawings when I have the time for such demanding and intricate work. I received my training at Southern Oregon Art School and Rogue Community College, as well as private lessons.

Norm Rossignol began painting watercolors in 1985. He is a member of Southern Oregon Society of Artists; Ashland Art Center; Co-founded the Plein Air Society of Southern Oregon; and founder of the Rogue Review Artist Group. A self-taught artist whose evocative style is accomplished with acrylics, inks, metallics and pigments. Pegi's paintings are in private collections in Switzerland, Australia and throughout the US, and were featured in the 2009 edition of "International Contemporary Masters." Her work is often available at many galleries and artisans' markets all along the West coast.

With a history in fashion design, Silvia Trujillo has 20 years experience in fine art study, painting, and teaching.  She is a master colorist; emphasizing color harmony, and works in impressionist, realist, and abstract styles. "My goal is to consistently produce paintings that are uniquely original and that express my love of nature."

Sandi's vibrant contemporary art has recently been welcomed in various Ashland art venues. She is most known for her art promoting the wine industry in Oregon. Fantasy blends with reality in her contemporary, sometimes surrealistic succulents, abstract flora and trees, and her most recent passion to expand her popular wine series.

Artist Mae Wygant creates from her studio in historic Jacksonville. Profoundly inspired by Nature, her fertile imagination and mastery of style, medium and technique have produced a substantial catalog of work from very literate to full modern abstract, a style she focuses upon now.
