Landscapes and nature are what I began with, and truly love. The beauty of Southern Oregon combined with my love to travel provides never ending photo opportunities. The creative side of photography has moved me into many new directions. Working artistically with an image can transform a photo into an amazing work of art. I offer my work in Giclée prints and custom framed prints, perfect for home, office or a special gift. Visit my website to view my portfolio, and come back often as I regularly add new images.

My work is mainly landscapes, seascapes & nature photographs taken in S. Oregon and along the Oregon Coast, joined by travel, architectural, floral and abstract photos. During 30 years as a Cardio-thoracic Surgical Physician Asst. I've helped patients and family through some of the most stressful days of their lives. This makes creating images with a sense of beauty and peace which can relieve the stresses of life one of my greatest joys.

I’m inspired by Zen aesthetic principles of simplicity, understatement, asymmetry, and tranquility.  Also by Vermeer and Edward Hopper. My most recent work is fine art portraiture, using natural light in a quiet place. If you’re interested please contact me for commissioned portraiture.  I’m also a writer. You can check that out at www.casualtiesthenovel.com.
