I first started working with stained glass in 1982 and most of my work involved windows with landscapes. With the development of fusible glass a new world of possibilities arose - it can be blown, kiln-casted or formed with a torch, colors layered and shading achieved. I have been fortunate to study under three world-renowned glass artists: Miriam DiFiore, Roger Thomas and Kathleen Sheard. My passion is Nature and my pieces are all about landscapes and wildlife.

A Southern Oregon artist who has painted on walls from Oregon to Cambodia! I believe in affordable, accessible art and enjoy creating large, bold paintings in contemporary styles. I also enjoy creating classic portraits, landscapes and drawings when I have the time for such demanding and intricate work. I received my training at Southern Oregon Art School and Rogue Community College, as well as private lessons.

My work is mainly landscapes, seascapes & nature photographs taken in S. Oregon and along the Oregon Coast, joined by travel, architectural, floral and abstract photos. During 30 years as a Cardio-thoracic Surgical Physician Asst. I've helped patients and family through some of the most stressful days of their lives. This makes creating images with a sense of beauty and peace which can relieve the stresses of life one of my greatest joys.

My paintings tend to revolve around the motion of animal life, horses running, fish swimming, buffalo strolling, and funny birds and bears. My passion shifts from day to day so I never know just what I'll end up with on the canvas. I've just embarked on a new adventure, having taken over a thriving gallery in Ojai, California, representing 10 accomplished artists. Naturally I'll continue to paint new works...just inside the front door of the Trowbridge Gallery, and to stay in touch with my friends and collectors in Oregon.
