Anderst uses her illustrative style to form fictional but plausible unions of biological and man-made structures on canvas. She spent her childhood poring over her father's anatomy books, developing an intense passion for botany, neurology, entomology, evolution and oil paints. She received art education at Southern Oregon Art Academy, Gage Academy in Seattle and in 2010 melded her scientific and art interests with a certificate in Natural Science Illustration at the University of Washington.

Sue Bennett is a classically trained artist who paints to express beauty. "My intent is to capture the heart of the subject and I get completely caught up in it." Her paintings have been included in over 45 exhibits around the nation. She works most frequently in transparent watercolor, however she also enjoys opaque watermedia and pastel.

The subject matter that I am interested in is representational. I strive to be thorough and accurate and yet catch what is fleeting and lively. The work I'm most proud of shows life as I see it: fatally flawed, but amazingly beautiful.

In 1977 I earned my degree in Art History. When I retired from my career in another field I began to paint, later selling my work successfully in Portland and Manzanita, OR, where I was a member of the Nehalem Bay Art League. Since moving to Jacksonville, I enjoy creating paintings of local landmarks and floral still lifes.

My artwork is in private and corporate collections world-wide. I am an award-winning artist, past gallery-owner, and my art has been in many exhibitions. I love the fine art side of Photography, using my camera as a painter does a brush, and my photographs reflect the interpretation I chose for that scene at that moment. My education includes three years of college training in Fine Art Photography and over 25 years of experience. My art has been published in a book for fishermen titled "Native Trout of North America."

Landscapes and nature are what I began with, and truly love. The beauty of Southern Oregon combined with my love to travel provides never ending photo opportunities. My work is mainly landscapes, seascapes & nature photographs taken in S. Oregon and along the Oregon Coast, joined by travel, architectural, floral and abstract photos. During 30 years as a Cardio-thoracic Surgical Physician Asst. I've helped patients and family through some of the most stressful days of their lives. This makes creating images with a sense of beauty and peace which can relieve the stresses of life one of my greatest joys.

A self-taught artist whose evocative style is accomplished with acrylics, inks, metallics and pigments. Pegi's paintings are in private collections in Switzerland, Australia and throughout the US, and were featured in the 2009 edition of "International Contemporary Masters." Her work is often available at many galleries and artisans' markets all along the West coast.

Sandi's vibrant contemporary art has recently been welcomed in various Ashland art venues. She is most known for her art promoting the wine industry in Oregon. Fantasy blends with reality in her contemporary, sometimes surrealistic succulents, abstract flora and trees, and her most recent passion to expand her popular wine series.

Artist Mae Wygant creates from her studio in historic Jacksonville. Profoundly inspired by Nature, her fertile imagination and mastery of style, medium and technique have produced a substantial catalog of work from very literate to full modern abstract, a style she focuses upon now.
