My goal in creating images is to cause one to pause for a moment, look and ponder. Each photo reflects my belief that we are challenged by uncertainty and blessed with mystery. Rio Querencia, River of Serenity, is both a state of mind and my home on the Applegate River in Southern Oregon.

Jannie creates stained glass art and fused glass jewelry from her studio in Talent. She evolved from classical designs to her own abstract creations, frequently incorporating geode slices into the designs. Her work has been published in an art glass book featuring glass artists from around the world and can be seen in various locations in Ashland and Jacksonville.

I am the resident artist and Chef/Co-Owner of Maclevin’s Restaurant in J’ville for the past 11 years. I've been at the easel for the last 40 years, painting abstracts in prismatic color exclusively with Windsor Newton oils. My surrealistic style employs various construction mediums to elevate images 3-dimensionally from the canvas.

Growing up a third generation artist, Maranda came to love the arts at a very young age. Pursuing art throughout high school, Maranda won best in state in the Junior Federal Duck Stamp three consecutive years. After graduating, she discovered oils and figures and hasn't looked back!
