Alx Fox is an experimental mixed media artist whose works are often noted for their unique style, elegance and technique. Her use of striking colors and strong 3 dimensional textures has resulted in an innovative style of abstract expressionism. She is also adept at creating commercial works and readily communicates the vision of her clientele.
Jeffrey MacLevin's colorful abstracts are playful explorations of the spectrum, using rainbows and, more recently, the addition of 3D elements to his canvases to add emphasis to the message of each piece. His work can always be seen at MacLevin's Whole Foods Deli in Jacksonville, which he owns and operates with his wife, Penelope.
Alicia came to the US from Poland in 1969 at age 16, later graduating from the Univ. of Maryland in art and Johns Hopkins in liberal arts. She writes of her work: "Creativity is often squashed by trying too hard. But, as I set aside rational mind, my hands can express the subconscious. This mysterious process guides the results."
A self-taught artist whose evocative style is accomplished with acrylics, inks, metallics and pigments. Pegi's paintings are in private collections in Switzerland, Australia and throughout the US, and were featured in the 2009 edition of "International Contemporary Masters." Her work is often available at many galleries and artisans' markets all along the West coast.
