Sue Bennett is a classically trained artist who paints to express beauty, and has taught art for many years in classes and workshops in several states and Canada. "My intent is to capture the heart of the subject and I get completely caught up in it." Her paintings have been included in over 45 exhibits around the nation. She works most frequently in transparent watercolor, however she also enjoys opaque watermedia and pastel.
I teach beginning and intermediate watercolor classes, drawing and sketching classes and also art journaling workshops in my home studio. Students learn from the basics up in a non threatening and non competitive atmosphere. Classes meet one day per week and because I limit classes to 3-4 students, each person gets ample one-on-one instruction. See Pat's
listing in the Visual Artists category.
My art and subject matter is governed by my intuition as well as by my emotional responses. It is apparent that unconscious archetypal energies are a strong influence in all that I do. Listening to the voice within allows me freedom from obsessive perfection, as the perfection of intuition guides my art experience. See Charu's
listing in the Visual Artists category.
My artwork is in private and corporate collections world-wide. I am an award-winning artist, past gallery-owner, and my art has been in many exhibitions. I work in various mediums, subjects and types of art and am a member of several art societies, and past member of many more.
