Stefan Baumann has successfully painted and taught oil painting classes in the Bay area for the past 35 years. This year he is offering extraordinary 3-day plein air workshops in Mt. Shasta with numerous easily accessible locations to paint, delicious food, focused instruction, and critiques. He also provides instruction through his PBS series, "The Grand View," which appears on local Create TV and PBS stations.
I teach beginning and intermediate watercolor classes, drawing and sketching classes and also art journaling workshops in my home studio. Students learn from the basics up in a non threatening and non competitive atmosphere. Classes meet one day per week and because I limit classes to 3-4 students, each person gets ample one-on-one instruction. See Pat's
listing in the Visual Artists category.
Briscoe ArtWing is home to the
Lithia Arts Guild, 15 artists, musicians and educators and their studios, and hosts several yearly
events. Exploring the creative process in community, we partner with regional artists and the Lithia Artisans Market to contribute funds to the Ashland School District and provide meaningful programs for students from K-12.
My art and subject matter is governed by my intuition as well as by my emotional responses. It is apparent that unconscious archetypal energies are a strong influence in all that I do. Listening to the voice within allows me freedom from obsessive perfection, as the perfection of intuition guides my art experience. See Charu's
listing in the Visual Artists category.
A painter and poet, I play in the crossroads of art & spirit. I've had the honor to create and exhibit art in the United States, Europe & Micronesia. Creative people and artists interested in exploring the creation of prophetic art and poetry can advance their techniques in my workshops. I also offer private tutoring. Please visit my blogs for more information.

A mixed media artist, I am inspired by the natural history of the mountains and river lands in Southern Oregon. I love collage and book arts and have shown my art throughout the US and locally at
Illahe Gallery in Ashland and Paschal Winery in Talent. I have been published in online collaborations and art zines, nationally in Cloth Paper Scissors, and I'm a featured artist in "The Pulse of Mixed Media" by Seth Apter. I also teach and design art workshops.
